Established in 1981, Logitech designs hardware and software solutions that help businesses thrive and bring people together when working, creating, gaming and streaming. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, the company employs 7,400 people in more than 30 countries worldwide.
 

Long-standing connection to Ireland

Cork has been home to Logitech since 1988. Since then, the site in the south west of Ireland has evolved into an R&D and global business services office - one of the principal sites in Logitech’s global footprint. Today, the Cork site hosts mission-critical functions including design, engineering, product development, sustainability, finance, supply chain, IT, HR, quality and sales. 
 
In 2021, Logitech announced it would create more than 50 new job opportunities over the following three years at its Irish operations. In fact over 100 roles were created, spanning a wide range of functions both regional and global in scope.  The following year, Logitech opened a next generation, state-of-the-art office building in City Gate, Mahon, Cork. The building was designed to the latest Gold standard in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and is a stunning example of the future of hybrid work spaces.  
 
Today, Logitech has a team of approximately 300 people in Ireland and its project is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
 
Senior Logitech global leadership members are based in Ireland, including its Chief Information Officer, Head of Sustainability, Head of Quality, Head of Privacy and Head of Community and Advocacy. Cork is a strategically important site for the company; Logitech is well integrated in the local tech community and takes interns from universities in the region.
