The independent food tech company Foodhub has announced the relocation of its global headquarters to Dublin, with the creation of over 35 new jobs to support its Irish expansion.

Founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 2017, Foodhub provides food ordering and delivery software, and point of sale hardware, to restaurants, takeaways and stadiums. The company now employs over 1,000 staff worldwide. This strategic expansion into Ireland will enable the growing business to build on its existing partnerships with over 30,000 restaurants and takeaways in markets including Ireland, the UK, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
Ambitions for the Irish Market

Foodhub operates an online ordering marketplace for food delivery and takeaway via Software as a Service (SaaS) and offers all clients a free listing on its growing marketplaces. The platform has more than one million users, processes more than 65 million orders per annum and has experienced a 10% year-on-year growth. The company is seeking to hire for senior roles across its sales, customer services, and technology functions.
Foodhub’s ambition is to empower independent food businesses by offering a unique, SaaS based model for restaurant partners, helping them retain more of their earnings while delivering greater value to consumers.

A Unique Business Model
Foodhub stands apart in the online food delivery space with its SaaS based approach. Unlike many platforms that charge restaurants a percentage of the order value, Foodhub operates on a fixed weekly fee. This allows restaurant partners to retain more revenue from each transaction.

This alternative model is designed to support independent food businesses, giving them more control over their margins while enabling them to compete effectively in a competitive digital marketplace.

For customers, the Foodhub platform connects users directly with local restaurants through an easy-to-use app and website, offering a wide variety of choices, without compromising on convenience or quality.

Commenting on their expansion, Foodhub owner and CEO Ardian Mula said: “Foodhub’s decision to anchor our corporate HQ in Dublin reflects our long-term commitment to Ireland as a strategic, innovative and operational hub, as well as a valuable gateway into the European market. Being a major centre for technology and innovation and having a renowned hospitality sector makes Ireland an ideal environment for us to grow our partnerships and drive innovation in our technology.”

“Establishing our headquarters in Ireland allows us access to highly sought-after tech talent, a large pool of prospective B2B customers and a tech-savvy consumer base. We are extremely excited to commence our market roll-out.”

Minister Peter Burke, Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment said: “I am pleased to hear of Foodhub’s decision to establish its global headquarters in Dublin. The expansion, which will create 35 jobs, is a welcome addition to our thriving Tech eco system. The innovative service provided by Foodhub will allow independent food businesses to operate more competitively and effectively. Our highly skilled workforce and connectivity to Europe are just two of the many reasons why companies such as Foodhub choose to locate in Ireland. I wish the team every success here in Ireland in the years ahead.”

Michael Lohan, CEO of IDA Ireland, welcomed the announcement, stating: “Foodhub’s decision to establish its global headquarters in Dublin is a strong endorsement of Ireland’s reputation as a hub for innovation and international business. Ireland offers a unique blend of global connectivity, deep talent pools, and a collaborative business environment — all of which make it an ideal location for ambitious companies like Foodhub. We look forward to supporting their continued growth and success in the years ahead.”
